RoosterRadar
Everything you need to cover RoosterRadar: the short version, the facts, the story, and downloadable brand assets. All material on this page may be reproduced freely in editorial coverage.
RoosterRadar is a private crypto portfolio tracker built in South Africa. It asks for no account, no email address, and no password — your holdings are stored on your phone only and are never uploaded anywhere. It shows live prices and interactive charts, carries a focused crypto news feed, backs your portfolio up to a single AES-256-encrypted file, and sends price alerts over Telegram, watched server-side around the clock so they arrive even when the app is closed. It is free on Google Play.

RoosterRadar is a tracker, not an exchange or a wallet. It never asks for exchange logins, wallet keys, or seed phrases, and it cannot move funds. Prices are informational only and not investment advice.
The popular portfolio trackers are foreign, dollar-centric, and require an account — which means millions of users' holdings sit in somebody's cloud, and cloud databases get breached. RoosterRadar started from the opposite premise: a tracker should not know who you are.
The entire product — app, backend, and infrastructure — is designed, built, and operated by one developer in South Africa. The server's only jobs are to cache market prices and to watch alert levels; the only identifier it ever sees is a random device ID. The name? Because a rooster watches the horizon and makes noise when something happens — set your alerts and get on with your life.
